Our Story
The Pattern Lane began as a passion project, born out of a love for Patterns & Design.
Our founder, Savvy Tagra a textile designer with over 9 years of experience in the industry, set out to create a space where creativity and collaboration could thrive.
Located in the bustling city of New Delhi, The Pattern Lane specialises in creating Unique and Custom Patterns for Fashion, Home Interiors and Stationery. We believe that patterns have the power to transform any product into something special and that sharing our skills and experiences makes us stronger as a team.
Our design style is a beautiful blend of traditional and modern influences. We draw inspiration from paisley, ethnic, geometric, ikat, tropical, tie-dye, stripes, resort floral, animal skin, ditsy floral, and many more. We add a natty naive touch to our prints, resulting in designs that are not just visually stunning but also tell a story.
Meet Savvy
Savvy is an Indian fashion designer based in New Delhi, with a passion for print and pattern design.
She studied Fashion Design from Pearl Academy, New Delhi, India and Istituto Marangoni, Italy, which has helped her hone her skills and develop her signature style.
With over 9 years of experience in the fashion industry, Savvy has worked as a Print Designer for both local manufacturers and renowned fast fashion brands as buyers. However, it was her love for creativity and design that led her to start her own studio, The Pattern Lane in New Delhi.
Today, Savvy designs exclusive prints and patterns for fashion and textile from her studio, catering to a wide range of clients. Her work is deeply inspired by nature and abstract shapes, and she draws on her knowledge of trend forecasts and catwalks to create truly unique designs that are both timeless and on-trend.
